As the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of the luxury hotel. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analysing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Revenue Management: Developing and implementing strategies to optimise revenue generation, including pricing, yield management, and room rate optimisation.
- Cost Control: Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures to improve profitability. Monitoring expenses and ensuring that they align with budgeted amounts.
- Team Management: Leading and managing a team of seven finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks, including credit risk, currency risk, and operational risk.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualification or finalist.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proven track record of managing teams and driving financial performance.
