Accountant Jobs London are partnering with a luxury 5-star 250 room hotel, in search of a Finance Manager to join them in Central London on a permanent basis. Capital injection and fresh investment for fabulous renovations to the already grand internationally renowned make this an extremely exciting time to join.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all aspects of the operational finance and ensure smooth running of the day-to-day functions. Overseeing AP, AR and Payroll, you will lead month-end for the property, providing leadership and direction to 3 direct reports and 5 indirect reports.
- Leading the finance team to meet tight deadlines.
- Improve and streamline existing processes to cut costs and save time where possible.
- Supervising the accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and income audit functions.
- Ensuring the monthly payroll is carried out with a high level of accuracy and in line with company policies and SOPs.
- Handling the annual submission of the hotel's PAYE Settlement Agreement.
- Overseeing the cash flow process for the property.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or finalist with at least 5 years’ experience in luxury hospitality. Working in large hotels is a bonus, as is experience anywhere with 5-stars. You must be hands-on, adaptable and flexible in your approach. An articulate communicator who copes well in a fast-paced environment would thrive in this position, as you will be liaising across departments and speaking with senior management.
