A prestigious 250-room luxury hotel in Central London is looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis. This is a unique chance to learn from a world-class hospitality brand and contribute to the future success of this luxury hotel.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and debt collections. You will collaborate with various departments to manage the collection of payments and assess risks, along with reconciling the balance sheet.
- Lead, develop, and upskill two finance assistants; one does AR and the other does income audit.
- Daily income audits and credit control.
- Streamline processes and improve ways of working by automating manual tasks and leveraging new technology to enhance financial operations.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist the wider team to prepare and coordinate internal and external audits regarding AR and revenue generating activities.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.
The successful candidate will have several years’ experience working in accounts receivable and have the right attitude. Previous team management experience is highly advantageous, and a desire to develop your career in the world of luxury hospitality is a must. A finance expert with excellent communication skills, highly detail-orientated, and a natural problem solver would thrive in this role.
