We're partnering with a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel nestled in the heart of Central London, offering an unparalleled experience for discerning guests, in search of a Director of Finance to join them on a permanent basis. With over 150 elegantly appointed rooms, world-class dining options, and state-of-the-art facilities, the hotel is renowned for its exceptional service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of the luxury hotel. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analysing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  2. Financial Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  3. Revenue Management: Developing and implementing strategies to optimise revenue generation, including pricing, yield management, and room rate optimisation.
  4. Cost Control: Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures to improve profitability. Monitoring expenses and ensuring that they align with budgeted amounts.
  5. Team Management: Leading and managing a team of seven finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  6. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks, including credit risk, currency risk, and operational risk.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualification or finalist.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of managing teams and driving financial performance.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
