Under the direct guidance of the esteemed Director of Finance, you will orchestrate the financial symphony of the property, meticulously crafting the statutory accounts. Your expertise will navigate the intricate realms of inter-company loans, cash flow management, and IFRS 16 compliance, as you present the financial tapestry to senior leadership and the proprietors, ensuring the continued prosperity of this opulent establishment.
- Ownership Reporting – P&L, Cashflow and other ad hoc reporting requests.
- Lender reporting and covenant reporting.
- Statutory reporting and responsibility of the stat accounts.
- Year-end audit requirements, ensuring compliance throughout the internal audit and being lead liaison for the external audit.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and consolidation.
- Play a major role in the budgeting process.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with at least 5 years’ accounting experience. Ideal candidates will have a background in audit or even some industry exposure already, experience working with large hospitality clients a plus. Proficiency in Opera and SUN systems, along with advanced Excel skills, is essential.
