In the beating heart of London, a pioneering hospitality and lifestyle brand—redefining luxury co-living, workspace, and leisure—seeks a visionary Financial Controller to architect its financial future. This is your chance to join a dynamic, fast-growing enterprise that blends the energy of a members’ club with the sophistication of high-end hospitality. As the financial linchpin, you’ll drive transformation during a thrilling expansion phase, with three new flagship sites launching imminently and ambitious plans to scale to 50+ locations by 2030.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll wield significant influence over financial strategy, systems innovation, and team development. This role is offering unparalleled autonomy to shape a finance function poised for exponential growth.
- Lead end-to-end month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning with actionable insights for leadership
- Own P&L, cash flow, covenant and statutory reporting, year-end audit compliance, and external liaison
- Optimize Xero, Mews, and Payhawk systems; design scalable finance ops for new sites and tech-driven reporting
- Enforce strong controls: fraud prevention, supplier management, payment integrity, and balance sheet hygiene
- Manage and develop a team of 2, embedding a business-partnering mindset across operations
- Support multi-site expansion with agile frameworks for sub-brand and landlord reporting complexity
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable expertise in audit and statutory accounts. They will have a proven track record of leading finance teams in fast-paced, high-growth settings—ideally scaling operations across multiple sites. Familiarity with financial systems, particularly Xero, is key, along with a strong history of driving process transformation and systems integration. Industry experience in hospitality, F&B, multi-site retail, or consumer brands is highly desirable, especially within boutique or start-up environments. We’re looking for someone extroverted, adaptable, and creatively solutions-driven—someone who thrives amid complexity, communicates effortlessly across teams, and brings infectious energy to the role.
In return for your impact, the brand offers a competitive salary of £65,000–£70,000, alongside private BUPA healthcare, a cash plan covering dental and prescriptions, 25 days holiday plus your birthday off & 8 bank holidays, pension contributions, and perks like the cycle-to-work scheme and workplace nursery support. You'll enjoy a standout lifestyle package with free access to the gym, cinema, and restaurant, flexibility for gym mornings and remote Fridays, and global travel benefits. This is your opportunity to shape the finance function as the brand scales.
